About the Author

Born in Queens, New York, Bernard grew up in New City, a town located about thirty miles north of the Big Apple. Today, he lives in western North Carolina with his wife of thirty years. And he has two adult sons.

He is a Certified Public Accountant and received his master's degree from Pace University. After nearly thirty years in the Finance & Investment Industry, he left to pursue his passion: writing stories.

His novels and short stories usually fall within one of the Speculative Fiction genres, though occasionally straying outside of those lines. He is the author of Blood Moon Over Betonville, Higher Intelligence, and The Seasonal Killer.  

 

​​In the spaces between writing, he can be found hiking the Blue Ridge Mountains, shredding guitar strings, or tapping on piano keys.
